Maroon 5- My favourite pop band. I actually love them, which is surprising considering I hate pop music. And pop culture in general. But I’m not a hipster. Gah, anyways, these guys don’t even sound like pop, they’re amazing, and they don’t get half as much credit as they should, because of the way pop is looked down upon. But they’re really good. If you’re like me and hate pop, still check them out, especially their old songs. They’re really good♥ My Chemical Romance- My favourite band….. ever. Period. I love other bands a lot, but none can compare to My Chem. I’ve only really started listening to them at like the first of last year, but since then they’ve actually helped me through so much. I know this sounds really really cheesy, but they’re actually amazing. Listening to their songs always puts me in a great mood. They have some sad songs, happy songs, and some that are not serious at all, they’re just so fun and silly ! Gerard’s intense singing, how Mikey and Frank are so in sink. And Ray is so cool about everything. Mike’s almost intimate drum beats. They all just come together to create something so beautiful that I just can’t stop listening. I didn’t realize they meant so much toe, until I heard the news that they broke up. I thought they were just a band that I loved more than any other. But when they split up…. I actually cried. Hard. I didn’t think I would, but I did. I listened to their music and got so sad. I was thinking about how they wouldn’t be making more music, and how my dream of seeing them live would never come true. It broke my heart into a million pieces. I still get sad about it, but I understand that they had to go seperate ways and do different things, and I get that.
